What is the Orman Dive Knife?
The Orman Dive Knife (ODK) is a compact dive knife designed by a Tampa father-son spearfishing team. It's built to cut line, dispatch fish, and ride on your arm, leg, or BC strap without getting in the way, making it a practical spearfishing knife and freediving knife.
How big is the blade, and what steel is it?
The ODK has a 3.5" 420 stainless steel blade with a black oxide coating.
What kind of edge does it have? Does it have a line cutter?
Yes. It's a dive knife with a line cutter: the blade has a straight edge with partial serration, plus a line cutter notch for monofilament, rope, and line.
What is the handle made of?
A soft-grip rubberized polymer handle.
Where can I mount it? Can I use it as a BC dive knife?
Yes. The flex polymer sheath mounts on your arm, leg, or BC strap. The included rubber straps with clips are for arm or leg mounting. The sheath uses a rubber retention ring to hold the knife in place.

How much is shipping, and how fast do orders ship?
Standard shipping is free on all US orders. Orders ship the same day they're placed (Monday–Friday, excluding holidays); orders placed after our daily cutoff, or on weekends and holidays, ship the next business day. How do I care for my knife?
Rinse it in fresh water after every dive and dry it before sheathing. 420 steel is corrosion-resistant, not corrosion-proof.
What is your return policy?
You can return unused items within 30 days. The customer pays return shipping. If your order arrives damaged or you received the wrong item, we'll cover it. Email us at info@ormandiveknives.com.
Is there a warranty?
Yes. The Orman Dive Knife has a 6-month warranty against defects. The warranty does not cover normal wear, rust from not rinsing, sharpening damage, loss, or misuse.
